    Cross Head Coating
    Profile Plastics has experience in the manufacture of plastic extrusions with a variety of components embedded in the part. From simple wire and cable coating to complex profiles with multiple different embedded components, we have met the challenges that our customers have put in front of us. We can also apply multiple layers of coating to your products. Our products include copper, aluminum, and steel wires, both stranded, solid and shaped. We have coated fiberglass and fiber optics. Whatever your application, we can assist.

    Coextrusion
    Profile also has experience with a variety of coextrusion applications. Cap stock applications can reduce costs by using a low cost back layer with a high performance top layer for color, durability, flame retardance, weatherability or other performance attributes. Flexible sections can be included in your parts to provide hinge areas, seals, sewn attachment areas or multicolor parts. And we can help you choose from a variety of materials to ensure good adhesion and meet your needs including vinyls, thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs), thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs) and thermoplastic ployuretahnes (TPUs) with a variety of rigid substrates.
